The country house is located in the village of Ilyinskoye (Moscow region). The customers - a married couple - requested us to update the interior of the house they had purchased.
The house was very spacious, full of light and boasting an excellent layout, with actually nothing to be purposefully changed. A beautiful spiral staircase and an exclusively designed fireplace were the highlights of the hall. The windows had unique wooden shutters.
We were to change the lighting, interior decoration materials, rearrange the furniture and introduce some special details into the interior.
In the hallway, we used dark-coloured stone-like tiles for the flooring. There was an electrical panel on the wall opposite the entrance. To hide it, we designed an arch-shaped cabinet with mirrored doors.
We took heat-treated oak to make the flooring of the hall. There are two sofas in the recreation area arranged opposite each other. To illuminate this area, we set a Vibia floor lamp (the North series).
Natural materials are used in the interior of the bathrooms on the first and second floors, such as slate, wood, and concrete-like tiles.
The master bathroom is designed in light colours. There is a large shower room for two with a rain shower built into the ceiling. A large mirror over the sink covering the entire wall visually makes the space wider. The hidden illumination of the niches in the bathroom and in the shower room creates a charming and elegant atmosphere.
We have made the interior look modern, low-key and refined. Using natural materials adds to the feeling of harmony and peace.
